Wonder Woman!

Long time no update...

Kinda trying to ad some variation into the poses of people that I am drawing... And trying to get the "western" comic book style down while leaving the animu behind me.

Colored pencil and ink on Bristol board.

Perhaps I should have adjusted the background to white... oh well.

New Layout

Finally after 8 days of planning and fussing and wining and moaning I found a cool layout, customized it a bit, and am pretty happy with it!

There are a few things here and there that I will want to change eventually, but that will come in time.

On an unrelated note, check out my masterpage's names:

★Wonder Woman★

Just something I was working on at my frinend's work. I was waiting for some huge files to copy over. I guess I'll tweak this over time, give her eyes, a mouth, maybe shading...

Western Style Sailor Moon

I wondered what Sailor Moon would look like if she were a western styled comic book heroine...

I'll edit this post with a watermarked image later.

My lovely....

Poor niglected art blog... I haven't done much drawing lately... I did draw a picture that I have to ink and color, but that is in my moleskine and will have an ugly line through it... Some day I have to go to Utrecht and get a new normal sized sketch book to keep in my bag.

What I want...

I want a brush pen that doesn't fray. I love this micron brush pen, but after using it a few times, the tip is all fraying and doesn't give me a nice gradual sweep from thick to thin.

Starbuck

Had a frappachinio today. It was like sucking heaven through a green straw.

Drew this the other day. Hope you enjoy!

I used a colorless blender marker with the colored pencils, it smooths things out so nicely! I think I will use it all the time now!

Pink Flower

Drew this at work last week. The flower in real life was more purple and had a nice perfume-y smell.

Some Guy...

I don't draw guys often. I don't know why. Maybe I like the soft curves of the female form better...

Drawn on the side of a sheet of A4 paper at work.
